My darling baby, Nuuch

This page is dedicated to my one and only daughter, little miss Johnette Musu "Nuuch" Nettie Brownell. It will keep you abreast of her activities and carry some of her photographs.

Nuuch as she is called by her dad was born on September 22, 1991 during the heat of the Liberian Civil War in Grand Cape Mount County. She never met her dad for years until the end of hostilities because I was in Freetown, Sierra Leone and her mother was caught up in fighting along the Liberian/ Sierra Leonean border by RUF/NPFL guerrillas at the time.  Her mother Name is Sando Senwah and she has an older Brother named Thomas Umaru Fahnbulleh.

She is a fourth grade student (Academic 2002) at the Cathedral Catholic High School in Monrovia Liberia (my Alma Mater). She is very studious and has gone on the Honour Roll list since the Academic year began.

Her hobbies includes Singing, Dancing, Reading, meeting new friends and sports.

I met Johnette in Accra, Ghana on Sunday September 14, 2003 when she arrived at the Kotoka International Airport direct from Liberia along with her uncle Lord B. Obedaja Jahomela Zoroaster Brownell, IX.

We proceeded to the British High Commission where she got her settlement visa to come to England. We stayed in Accra for one week and had a very marvelous time there.

Johnette is now in Northampton, England and is a student at the Mereway Middle School in Year 7. It has been very tough for her to see the vast difference in the lifestyle and especially the weather is too cold for her... However, she is coping and the teachers at her school sent a note saying that she is settling in well.
