Dalepak United FC is the local football team that I am currently playing for in Northampton, England. We play in Division Six of the Northampton Perpetual Motion Alliance League. This is our first season in the league and it was decided that we start from the bottom and work up to higher divisions...

The team is made of people from different backgrounds and professionals. It embraces everybody without any prejudice. Anyone is welcomed to become a member of Dalepak United FC. The lads are very nice and we have marvellous time together  after training sessions on wednesday evenings at the local pub in Yardley Hastings. We play together to keep physically fit which is an essential ingredient for good health.

Below are the current standings of teams in our league.

We have started the season on a very poor note as lots of the lads including myself lack the requisite fitness to play 90 minutes football... however since our fourth game, things have improved a lot and we expect to do better... (We are yet to win after playing 4 games) We almost beat Lion Flooring but they managed to force us to a 4 - 4 draw in the last minute of play.

The first victory finally came on Sept.29,2002 against our league leaders Exclusive Rovers in the Ken Parker Cup. We beat them 3 - 2 after extra time. We had lost miserably in the league few weeks ago to Exclusive Rovers 8 - 1. I wasn't present for said loss but before the game last sunday, I promised the lads that such disgrace wasnt going to happen again and I made sure we played to the best of our ability... It is interesting to note that I got a RED CARD in the last minute of the game for placing the ball in the right position when our opponent brought the ball 10 yards from where a foul was committed.(UPDATE: I was fined 17 Pounds Sterlings by the FA and banned for 1 week beginning Oct.21- 27, 2002)...

.. DALEPAK...ALL THE WAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

We won our 1st league match against JWC Athletics on Oct 6, 2002

Dalepak is on a winning streak... beat Pasture Palace 2 - 1 on Oct.13,2002

GOAL, GOAL and GOAL was what Dalepak did in Towcester on October 20, against the Bull (Division5 side) in the NFA Sunday Shield 1st round... final Score  3 - 1 in favour of Dalepak after extra time

I scored my first goal this season on December 1,2002 against Westone Club

The season ended with Dalepak United being 5th on the league table... We are having an honouring program and a game for the players and officials at the big stadium (Sixfields) in Northampton on April 30, 2003...
